Meet Our Team

Experienced, Friendly, Trustworthy
Our experienced, friendly and trustworthy staff are the key to our success at Domestic Matters, and the reason that we have so many satisfied customers across the Fife and Kinross area – now including Cupar.
We know that new customers can be wary of letting people into their home, however much they want a helping hand with the cleaning or ironing. That’s why we believe in providing a personalised, friendly service. This also helps our cleaners know how best to spend their time working for each customer, to give them the biggest help they can.
Not only are all out staff vetted, but they’re also highly experienced cleaners. Many juggle family and work themselves, they know what is needed to give customers that helping hand when it comes to keeping a clean, tidy home.
When we hire, we look for cleaners who can use their own initiative to provide an outstanding service: only then will they fit into the Domestic Matters team.
Domestic Matters founder and owner Cara Cameron is now supported by two supervisors, Fiona and Lisa, who have been with the firm for several years and know the business of domestic cleaning inside out.

Cara Cameron
Cara started Domestic Matters with a vision of providing clients with cleaners in the local area, allowing her to work but also be a mum to her two young boys. She now feels extremely lucky to be able to drop off and collect her boys at school daily and participate in school trips, attend swimming lessons and generally be a very active mum.
“It is very difficult for us mums to be able to work and also be there for after school care, and generally enjoy watching our children grow up,” says Cara. ”I am delighted my job allows this and that we can offer that opportunity to other mums also. I love to see how we are helping families enjoy weekends together instead of stressing about who is cleaning the bathrooms or who is doing the ironing!”

Fiona Simpson
Fiona joined Domestic Matters in 2013 and was promoted to supervisor in May 2017. She has two daughters and prides herself on being able to support her girls and work hard. As well as spending time with her family and supervising the team at Domestic Matters, Fiona likes to stay fit by going to the gym.
A very experienced cleaner who can advise on how best to use your domestic help to free up as much time as possible for your valuable leisure time, Fiona advocates having a good thorough deep clean every six months – it makes the everyday tasks much easier when you are on top of things!

Lisa Cluckie
Lisa is a relative newcomer to Domestic Matters, having joined in September 2016, but she fitted in immediately and was quickly promoted to supervisor. Committed to our excellent standards of customer service and with a keen eye for detail, not a speck of dust will escape her notice!
A mother of three sons, Lisa enjoys walking her dog with her husband and family, especially up in the Highlands. For her own cleaning, she likes to do a little everyday where time allows – but she likes to do a thorough job: she never cuts corners!
